Inspiration is as thick as the July fog in the city by the bay.  Whether it's the fabulous art of John Kraft, or the timeless work of Armistead Maupin, San Franciscan's are always inspired to share the pride. 


When I naively wrote my first version of Death on Alder, I included lyrics from each of these songs in the book. I found out about the red tape associated with getting permission and painfully cut them as my editor suggested. There are dozens of songs, but these deserve some attention.
